BinDroid ROM is another great ROM for your Galaxy Tab 10.1, comes with custom app drawer and lots of cosmetic changes, which I feel is refreshing without losing TouchWiz interface.

Want to try the best and latest of Galaxy Tab 10.1 ROMs? Well, user Task650 and PhantomHacker (author of Starburst ROM) at XDA have got together to make exactly that, In Paris ROM that comes with a ton of optimizations plus 1.4Ghz overclocked kernel.
This is what I am running right now and so far have no issues other than battery status being a bit off. (This should fix itself after you drain the battery once.)

If you are looking for a simple, stock-like ROM with a stock kernel (no overclocking), you might want to give Task650 KME ROM a try, it comes with a RAM optimizations/HW-accelerated launcher to give you a stock-ROM experience but much faster.
Also, Ad-hoc is supported (hack enabled by default).

Couple days ago I made it my goal to have the best and fastest ROM and kernels running on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I think I may have achieve my goals so far.
With the latest version of Starburst ROM and 1.4Ghz overclocking kernel, I was able to achieve near 3000 on Quadrant benchmarking, which tests your Tab 10.1’s CPU, Disk I/O, and graphic processing speeds.
That’s quite good I think as stock Tab 10.1 gets near 1800 to 2200 on Quadrant, that’s almost near 50% improvement in speed of my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Take that iPad 2, jabbing at Steve Jobs)
I just played with Starburst ROM all night long last night and I have to say this is probably the best and fastest ROM for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. It’s based on the latest TouchWiz UX ROM minus the bloatware and speed additions.
My browser used to lag when I had Google Music on and browsed Facebook desktop version but after installing this ROM, all of the lag is completely gone. I’ve also gotten speeds near 2200 on Quadrant, which is much better than stock.

For those of you who want to try out the new Touchwiz UX ROM for the Galaxy Tab 10.1, you don’t have to unroot device then apply the OTA update because there’s already a rooted Touchwiz UX ROM I have been enjoying for weeks already. If you have a rooted Tab 10.1, my advice is always wait and install a rooted version of the latest OTA update as it WILL be available.
I actually installed this ROM without knowing this was the actual OTA update but I guess some developers got hands on it weeks before.

For those of you who want to install a new ROM on your rooted Galaxy Tab 10.1, I made a quick video tutorial.
Basically the steps are pretty simple as follows:
1. Download the desired ROM you want to install and copy over to the internal storage of your Tab 10.1
2. Reboot by holding down Volume down button and Power button together and let go when you see Android logo.
3. Hit Volume down button then Volume up button to enter into ClockworkMod Recovery.
4. Choose “Wipe/Factory Reset” then hit the Power button.
