Galaxy Task ROM v14 for Rooted Galaxy Tab 10.1!

Galaxy Task ROM version 14 is out for rooted Galaxy Tab 10.1 users. I think this is the best ROM for the Tab 10.1 right now couple with Pershoot’s kernel. Until we have a stable ICS with camera working, this is probably the recommended custom ROM.

Want to get a taste of ICS on Galaxy Tab 10.1?  If you do, you can try the CM9 ICS ROM, which gives you a full ICS experience.  The only thing missing is camera and ability to watch movies on Netflix but otherwise, this CM9 ICS ROM is super-fast and zippy over Honeycomb.

Of course, not all of you may want to try it but if you make a backup of your current ROM in CWM, you can always revert back after trying the ICS ROM.

Overcome 10.1 ROM for Rooted Galaxy Tab 10.1! [P7500][P7510]

For those of you with a Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G P7500 (3G version) or the Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7510 (wifi), you might want to check out this setup, Overcome 10.1 ROM with Pershoot’s overclocked kernel.

This setup works just as good as the Starburst ROM + OC setup and would be a great ROM for those of you with Tab 10.1 3G.

Want to try the best and latest of Galaxy Tab 10.1 ROMs?  Well, user Task650 and PhantomHacker (author of Starburst ROM) at XDA have got together to make exactly that, In Paris ROM that comes with a ton of optimizations plus 1.4Ghz overclocked kernel.

Starburst ROM + 1.4Ghz Overclock = Super Galaxy Tab 10.1 [2800+ on Quadrant]

Couple days ago I made it my goal to have the best and fastest ROM and kernels running on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I think I may have achieve my goals so far.

With the latest version of Starburst ROM and 1.4Ghz overclocking kernel, I was able to achieve near 3000 on Quadrant benchmarking, which tests your Tab 10.1′s CPU, Disk I/O, and graphic processing speeds.

That’s quite good I think as stock Tab 10.1 gets near 1800 to 2200 on Quadrant, that’s almost near 50% improvement in speed of my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Take that iPad 2, jabbing at Steve Jobs)

StarBurst ROM for Galaxy Tab 10.1!

I just played with Starburst ROM all night long last night and I have to say this is probably the best and fastest ROM for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. It’s based on the latest TouchWiz UX ROM minus the bloatware and speed additions.

My browser used to lag when I had Google Music on and browsed Facebook desktop version but after installing this ROM, all of the lag is completely gone. I’ve also gotten speeds near 2200 on Quadrant, which is much better than stock.
